#IIADayofGiving is JUNE  2!

This year, since June 2nd falls on a Saturday, the IIA will also be accepting all agency efforts that are participating on Friday, June 1st.

Last year, our agency gathered donations and created care packages for victims and families of domestic violence in collaboration with Family Shelter Services.  I attached some highlight pictures. It was a huge success!

This year, we are teaming up with the Lisle Township Food Pantry (Friends of Lisle Township, a 501C3 Corporation) and hosting a food drive!! Our vision is that this will be a collaborative between the teams of many across the state.

While the “Day of Giving” is officially two months away, we will start gathering items now and storing them in the office so we can keep track of whats been donated.  Next month, we will also be placing a donation box in the lobby of our building so the building tenants can donate too.

In addition to nonperishable food/pantry items, there is a Dupage County Back to School Program that we can also contribute to as well.

Lastly, monetary donations are always appreciated, payable to Friends of Lisle Township. These donations are used to buy food and personal items at discounted amounts from the Northern Illinois Food Bank with 100% funding from the 501C3.

Below is a list of some nonperishable items as a guide, but as we found out last year, these organizations are grateful for anything we can provide.

Our event and other agencies events will also be shared at https://www.iiadayofgiving.org/

PLEASE SHARE with whomever you think would want to help us in our efforts and they can drop items off at any time up until June 1st or we can arrange to pick them up too.

Questions, comments, concerns …. Email info@bbofillinois.com , or you can call 630-245-4600.
